Where to find it
Open DORA → Overview. Under the table of services there is a Trends chart; pick the service it shows, or open a service and find it under its five metric cards. Switch between deploy frequency, lead time, recovery time, change fail rate and rework rate. When DORA is estimated from your ClickUp workflow, the same chart sits under the workflow cards.
What the chart shows
- One point per week of the period you picked. The values are the same weekly values the small sparklines on the cards already used.
- A trend line. Each week counts in proportion to how many changes, deploys or failures it holds, so a week with one change barely moves it. Deploy frequency weighs every week the same, because every week is seven days long. A week with no deploys counts as zero deploys.
- A 4-week average, starting from the fourth week.
- One sentence above the chart, for example "Getting better: down from 2 days to 1.4 days over 13 weeks". The direction follows DORA: more deploys is better, and shorter times and lower rates are better.
You can switch the trend line and the average off, download the weekly values as CSV, or open the chart full screen.
When it says nothing
A trend needs at least four finished weeks and ten changes, deploys or failures between them. Below that the chart still shows the weeks but gives no verdict and draws no trend line, because a few data points can't tell you which way a service is heading. The current week is drawn as a hollow point and left out until it ends.
Weeks before a service's first production deploy are left off the chart rather than shown as zero. The chart says where its history starts.
A longer view
The DORA period picker now offers Last 12 months next to 30, 90 and 180 days. Use it to see a full year of trend where your history goes back that far.
The cards still compare the whole period with the one before it. The trend compares weeks inside the period. The two can differ: a service can be better than last quarter overall while getting worse over the last few weeks.
