What was wrong
In Profile → Personal Information, clicking Update Profile kept your old name, and the Bio and photo you entered were not stored either.
What changed
- Full Name saves. Your name is how TheMetrics links you to your ClickUp work, so the same rules apply as when an admin renames someone: extra spaces are trimmed, the name can't be empty, and it can't be one another person in your company already uses.
- If your name is shared by more than one ClickUp account, Profile asks you to have an admin rename it instead. An admin renames every account at once, so your work stays together.
- Bio and photo upload are removed. Neither was ever saved, so the fields only pretended to work.
