A sprint that started this week has counted only a few days, and a sprint that has not started has counted nothing. Charts used to draw both like finished sprints, so the end of the line looked like a sharp fall. Now each stage looks different.

  • Finished sprints are drawn as before, and the line ends at the last one.
  • The sprint in progress sits in an amber "In progress" band. On story points, tasks and milestones, the band says how much the sprint has delivered so far, and a solid "So far" line climbs from zero inside it.
  • Sprints not started yet sit in a hatched "Not started" band, with nothing plotted.
  • A dashed "Forecast" line continues from the last finished sprint across the running sprint and the ones not started. It is the average of the last 3 finished sprints, so you can compare where the running sprint stands with what a usual sprint delivers.
  • Tooltips mark a sprint as "(in progress)" or "(not started)".

You will see this on Velocity, Time Tracking, Cost Analysis, Quality and Allocation. On Milestones, the Velocity Trends chart marks the week in progress the same way. On Allocation, the stacked view now shows one stacked bar per sprint.

We also fixed the Velocity Trends chart on Milestones, which was not drawing each person's line or its legend.
