The smaller changes from the last six weeks. None of them is a headline on its own, but together they remove most of the moments where you had to work around the product.

Lens settings that explain themselves

  • Lead time path — under the lead-time start and end pickers, the statuses your work passes through between the two, ranked by share of lead time. If 40% of lead time is spent in "Waiting for review", you will see it here before you see it in a retro.
  • Inventory by status — under the inventory boundary, the open milestones listed by status, adding up to the Inventory card.
  • Inventory — still being defined — list the statuses where work is still being shaped, so it counts as upstream rather than as committed inventory.
  • Status pickers are searchable and sorted alphabetically.
  • Estimation settings (baseline window, tolerance, problem and suspicious thresholds) now live in their own Estimation section.
  • The gear on the Cycle Time, Lead Time, Delivery Pace and Inventory cards now opens Lens settings at the right place, instead of a page that did not have the setting.
  • Cycle time can now count any status you choose, not only those marked as active work.

Status Configuration

Resync from ClickUp now actually imports. It lists the statuses your tasks have used in the last 60 days that are not in your pipeline yet, grouped by space. You confirm which to import, and they reach your metrics straight away. Previously the button only previewed and imported nothing. Importing is Admin-only.

More reliable ClickUp sync

Incremental sync now resumes from where it last successfully wrote, instead of looking back a fixed minute. A restart, a slow run or a ClickUp outage no longer leaves updates missing until the nightly full sync, and temporary ClickUp server errors are retried. There is nothing to configure; you should simply see fewer stale tasks during the day.

ClickUp custom task IDs (like ENG-1234) are now stored, so they can link GitLab branches and merge requests to tasks in DORA, and you can search for them in Product Directions.

AI reports

  • Generated under your selected View and team filter, the same as Velocity and Time Tracking. A team-filtered report used to describe the whole company.
  • Generated with Claude Fable 5.1.
  • Readers without financial access get reports with no cost, salary or ROI content.

Everyday fixes

  • Click a task's title in any task drill-down to open it in ClickUp, on desktop and phone.
  • The date-range picker accepts future dates, so a View can describe a quarter or PI still under way.
  • Task titles stay readable in Velocity's Tasks Completed drill-down.
  • Renaming a team no longer removes its managers' access. Managed teams are stored by identity, not by name.
  • Team-scoped managers see their team on the People page again. Between 21 September and 5 October they saw only themselves.
  • A salary is now optional when adding an employee. Someone without one is not priced in cost figures, which list them as people with no salary on record. They also add no capacity to Planning forecasts, and Planning does not list them, so check the People list if a forecast looks short-handed.
  • Enabling, disabling or extending a license from the employee dialog works again.
  • The Getting Started entry stays in the menu until ClickUp is connected.
  • The dashboard's Code quality insight is gone. It was derived from estimation accuracy rather than from anything that measures code, and we would rather show nothing than a number with no basis.
  • Every page now has exactly one main heading, which helps screen readers.
  • The employee Position picker has a Product Management group: Junior, Middle and Senior Product Manager, Head of Product, Product Marketing Manager and Product Marketing Analyst.
